Peel Agincourt Diary: 6 July

Word comes that the king has turned his back on the French ambassadors and, in the early evening, ridden from Winchester intending to lodge at Portchester Castle and join the army. Our king is resolute and means to have his voyage and war. There is now nothing more for the ambassadors to do but return to Paris to carry word to the king of France of the failure of their embassy.
